Our Projects

  • Lifesaver Legacy Recognition

When First Responders save a life, it impacts more than just the patient and their family. Recognizing the extraordinary gift of a restored life reminds each of us how special our roles in the community can be. We are proud to partner with coin manufacturers to provide a tangible reminder of these remarkable moments.

  • Welcome to the Family

The Fire Service and Law Enforcement communities are extended families. When a member of an organization has a new baby, two families grow bigger. The FRHF is proud to partner with screen printers and designers to facilitate department specific gifts to welcome the new arrival and provide needed support to new First Responder parents.

  • New Recruit Mentorship and Support

Going through a Fire or Police Academy can be tough on the trainee and their family. These demanding training programs can be physically, emotionally, and financially challenging. The FRHF can help provide educational and other support to those who are in the first stages of their public service careers.

  • Stork Pins

Stork Pins are a traditional way of celebrating when First Responders deliver babies outside of the hospital setting. We recognize that members of the dispatch, police, and fire services may all share in this experience. The FRHF can help fund these commemorations. We also connect departments with pin manufacturers to create department specific designs that fit within the uniform code.

  • Peer Support

First Responders face constant exposure to trauma, immense pressure, and stress that can take a toll on their mental health and overall well-being. The establishment of peer support programs has emerged as a critical lifeline in addressing our Frist Responders’ needs. The FRHF can help connect personnel and departments to these resources to promote wellness and operational readiness.

  • Future Program Expansion

Every community is different, and we recognize that the programs we have started to not fulfill every need. In the coming years, our Foundation aims to enhance the scope and depth of our existing programs while introducing new initiatives that address the evolving needs of first responders. If you have a project to support First Responders that calls for funding or an idea that requires further development, the FRHF can work with you as we expand our mission.
